The details of the new Holiday mini-sessions can be found here. My current clients received this information last week and there has been a great response so far. The locations are amazing; two are tried and true and two are new for me.
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano is picturesque with trails and trees and lots of green (green enough) grass. The Cotton Mill in McKinney is a photographer's paradise with natural light, gorgeous doors, fountains, stairs and cool, quirky details. No rain delays for this one (we can only hope it might rain again someday) as there are plenty of inside options. Chestnut Square in McKinney is a location that I have used many times and it's a perfect blend of old and new. There are textures and colors, along with large wooden doors, stairs and a pretty chapel courtyard. Downtown McKinney has an urban flair with park benches, the old jail with a cool patio and multiple great brick backgrounds. There's even a fun little green park down an alley.
Choose the day and location that works for you and email me now to save your spot.

the power of two
On what we hope was the last of our very warm TX mornings, this beautiful family joined me for some fun. We explored the park, found water, jumped from rocks and even discovered a longhorn (statue), an alligator (not real) and a baby bunny (real)! Oh what fun it is to be two and full of life; and thank goodness for happy baby brothers who tag along with a smile. Thanks, N family, for a great morning. Happy Labor Day and enjoy your sneak peeks.

surprise, surprise
This beautiful family gathered for a family portrait to celebrate their mom's 80th birthday. Baby sister even flew in from Atlanta for the occasion. What great joy to see the delight and surprise in her eyes as mom realized the surprise. Later that evening another surprise was in store when 60+ people (cousins, grandkids, neices, nephews, etc.) gathered for a surprise birthday party for her! Thanks for the fun morning and may your mom enjoy many, many more years.

greatest joy
My beautiful children are my greatest joy. They are intelligent, funny, quirky, silly, crazy and awesome. (And yes, there are times that they make me want to pull out my hair - or theirs!) The boys will be in 4th grade and my baby girl will be in 3rd this year. Truly, the time is going by too quickly and I would often like to turn back the clock. I am so proud of the young men and young lady that I see emerging from these not-so-little ones.

greatest grands
What a very special family! I adore this group of people and am enamored by the bond they have with each other. My connection to this family began 10 years ago; Julie (cute redhead mom) and I were brand new (twin) moms together and spent many hours walking the mall and picnicing at the Arboretum. This session is in honor of her parents' 50th anniversary. Congratulations, Judy and John and enjoy the sneak peek, there are many more!

beach sunset
What a delightfully fun family! We were treated to a gorgeous evening with a cool breeze and a stunning sunset and everyone was on their very best behavior (even Nick!) I loved getting to know each one of you and hope that our paths cross again in Indian Pass soon. Enjoy the sneak peeks!

my girl
My little girl will soon be 8. Sometimes she acts more like a teenager than a little girl but she's got lots of gusto (a word we discussed at breakfast this morning) and plenty of pure joy for life. I love the new haircut and although she can be quite spirited, I adore and admire the beautiful young lady she is becoming.
