fun times

This beautiful family has come a long way in 3 years, I think dad almost had fun this year and E didn't hold back on her great poses!  Look at those great outfits and gorgeous smiles - it was a fabulous day and the barn was a fun backdrop.  Thanks, W family, for making my job so easy!

I adore this sweet family.  Our kids went to preschool together and I've been photographing them for 5 years now, oh my!  Thank you, boys, for being so much fun and giving me all those great smiles (and for letting Moosey help me take some pictures).  Who knows, someday we may get dad in the photo again.  Enjoy your sneak peeks, can't wait to share them all with you.

a beautiful fall morning

I was honored to spend a beautiful morning with this fabulous family.  The kids are very close in age to my own children so I really enjoyed laughing and learning some new jokes that I could pass along!  Take a look at these perfectly coordinated outfits - great job, M, I may need to hire you when it's time to take my family's photos.

family fun

We have had a strange summer here in TX compared to the triple digits and no rain of last year - lots of evening thunderstorms.  Thankfully E was determined to get the family together and the weather cooperated with beautiful cloud cover and no rain.

What an awesome family - great dynamic group of people!  I really enjoyed getting to know you all and I am excited for you to see all the wonderful images we created together.  Thanks for making my job so much fun!

it's fun to be one

Isn't he absolutely precious with that head full of blonde curls?  This is my little cousin from south Louisiana and we had such a great time playing together this weekend.  Too bad he broke his arm just a few days before his arrival but he didn't miss a beat.  Thanks, Mere, for making the journey to see us - love you!

meet ryan | lovejoy high school 2012

What a wonderful young man and fabulous family!  Ryan is a graduating senior and headed to OU in the fall.  He's smart, eager and outgoing; is certain to be successful in college and in life.  I've photographed this location many, many times and this was the first time the kids went up so high in the tree; that was awesome.

Although she got a bit overheated in our afternoon sun, Raven (the dog) was quite a trooper and smiled for the camera.  Check out the gorgeous TX wildflowers - although Ryan did not choose them for part of his session, I'm glad the girls took advantage of the beautiful color.  Thanks for the fun and I can't wait to share all the images with you!

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Will and his family this past weekend.  This multifaceted young man is not only an actor and musician but is also a very good student and a varied athlete.  He's headed west for college in the fall and I am sure we will be seeing more of him on-screen in the near future.  Best of luck in all your endeavors!

We enjoyed a beautiful (quite warm) afternoon.  The park was gorgeous and green and Dylan was an excellent sport.  He's a wonderful boy who loves his music and is excited about the future.  So glad we incorporated the woofers, love the look!  Hope you enjoy the sneak peek and see you soon.

meet emily | pshs 2012

I absolutely love meeting a young lady with class and confidence and Emily definitely has both.  We enjoyed the crisp, beautiful morning and had a great time exploring the downtown area. She's so easy-going and was willing to try all my crazy poses (and pulled them off much better than I ever could!) 

Emily is a fun-loving, beautiful girl with a big heart who also has looks, brains and determination. She is headed to UT in the fall and is certain to take Austin by storm.  Enjoy your sneak peeks, I can't wait to show you all of the images!

wiggly tooth

This beautiful family took advantage of a gorgeous afternoon in January to capture the final photographs of a sweet first-grade boy with his two front teeth.  Mom said it perfectly, "It's well known that childhood cuteness absolutely peaks when you still have your baby teeth."  So, off to the park with twin three-year-old sisters in tow, and we had a delightful time exploring and playing (and captured some beautiful images). It was so great to see you all again and Grant, I hope the tooth fairy visits very soon!
