meet emily | pshs 2012

I absolutely love meeting a young lady with class and confidence and Emily definitely has both.  We enjoyed the crisp, beautiful morning and had a great time exploring the downtown area. She's so easy-going and was willing to try all my crazy poses (and pulled them off much better than I ever could!) 

Emily is a fun-loving, beautiful girl with a big heart who also has looks, brains and determination. She is headed to UT in the fall and is certain to take Austin by storm.  Enjoy your sneak peeks, I can't wait to show you all of the images!

This beautiful family took advantage of a gorgeous afternoon in January to capture the final photographs of a sweet first-grade boy with his two front teeth.  Mom said it perfectly, "It's well known that childhood cuteness absolutely peaks when you still have your baby teeth."  So, off to the park with twin three-year-old sisters in tow, and we had a delightful time exploring and playing (and captured some beautiful images). It was so great to see you all again and Grant, I hope the tooth fairy visits very soon!

The plan was a late afternoon quick shoot at our neighborhood park.  All I wanted was a great shot of the kids with the puppy then some individual shots of the kids.  Easy, right?  No.  Nothing is easy with an 8 month-old puppy and kids who don't share mom's enthusiasm for family photos.  So, after the dog wouldn't sit still, then slipped out of her collar and got loose in the park, we ditched the serious shoot for some silly fun.  Needless to say when we do it again we'll bring the puppy wrangler (aka dad) for a little help!

What better way to spend your Thanksgiving break than taking family pictures, right?  This very fun and photogenic family was happy to spend their afternoon in a beautiful park creating great family memories.  Thanks for the fun, hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!

These precious children were so much fun and I loved their sweet interactions.  We had a great time looking for animals and exploring and ended our time with a fun leaf fight!  Thanks, Alycia, enjoy your sneak peeks.

What a very beautiful and happy new family.  There was rain outside (which is good luck on your wedding day), but inside, there was abundant love and joyfulness throughout the church.  I am so happy these two found one another and thrilled that I could capture their love on this special day.  Best wishes to you all!

Look how darling and sweet this young lady is, and she's so photogenic, too.  This gorgeous park is right outside their door - a gazebo, lake and beautiful fall trees, what a perfect setting for a shoot!  Her sweet brother is a Marine stationed overseas and missed this one; but if he gets that leave the family is hoping for, we'll have a family session soon.  Enjoy these sneak peeks and hope those ant bites are all better!
