Sienna + Stone

I had a wonderful time photographing and getting to know these wonderful and photogenic kids. It is hot, hot, hot in Texas right now, so we decided to do some shots in the pool - great idea Mom! Enjoy this sneak peek, lots more to show you soon!

A Moment in Time

Memorial weekend started with a fabulously fun photo session! I was greeted with warm smiles and happy boys (sweet Jack donning sunglasses and a fancy superman cape!) Pictures with the cape were welcome but when we dared to suggest the cape come off - off he went to "mow" the yard on the gator. It was pretty funny as he watched us take tons of pictures of the family (even grandpa) without him. Once the very large yard was complete, he joined us and was the star of the show with big warm smiles & hugs.

So, we finally have everyone in place having fun and then, believe it or not, the sprinklers came on! What's a little water when you finally have two happy boys? C, I hope you like these first sneak peeks, it's certainly a moment in time we are all sure to remember!

P Family

What a beautiful, delightful family! I have not had the priviledge of photographing three young girls before, and I enjoyed this session so very much. I was told more than once that our sweet little two year-old "does not like to smile for the camera". Well, she proved everyone wrong and was one of the best behaved two-year-olds I have ever worked with. In fact, from their wonderful clothing choices to their precious personalities, I had tons of fun with this family! M, enjoy the sneak peek and your final proofs will be ready very soon!

Time Flies

Wow, I cannot believe how long it's been since I last posted. The holidays were fast and furious and somehow it is May. My family has been crazy busy with school, flag football, soccer, work and lots of fun. We enjoyed some wonderful ski trips this winter with dear friends and my husband was able to record his first year of double-digit ski days - pretty amazing considering we live 1000 miles from ski slopes. The school year is quickly coming to an end and next year I will be the mom of two big 3rd grade boys and my baby girl will be going to 2nd grade (how did that happen?). This summer we are looking forward to hanging out by the pool and spending a few weeks in the cool mountain air. We are blessed by our health and our dear families and friends.

The new year also brought new work for me. I did two commercial shoots which were both a lot of fun and different for me. I was also recently the event photographer for our Foundation fundraiser auction. We have a wonderful community and school district, I was happy to be part of this event.

So, I'm now working on spring portraits and booking seniors. It's never too early for senior pictures, and it's not too late if you have a senior graduating this year - call me, I'll fit you in!

Check back, I've got some great portrait sessions to blog about!

More Fun

This family has such a loving spirit. They have experienced more than their share of loss in the past year and have a strong, solid faith and powerful connection to one another. I am honored and blessed to call them friends. They are also so much fun; I love a challenge and they never fail to bring one (or two or three)! I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Jean's Boys

More families together for Thanksgiving!! Jean's three boys and their families got together at a park for our session together. They were a very fun and active family group. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and discovering some friend connections we have; it is a wonderfully small world! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, lots more to come soon!

After the Turkey

Kids home for Thanksgiving make the perfect opportunity for family pictures. This family was fun to work with and did a great job picking out good photo ops in their backyard. They are a close, loving bunch and seemed to really have fun together. Thanks!!
